NEXT STEP
Discipleship
We take discipleship seriously and offer four main modules in our Next Step Discipleship Program.
Moving from one module to another over a period of time while being involved in church activities and programs allow each person to grow in their faith and spiritual life.
These Modules are offered by the church during the year and details are announced for a few weeks before it begins.
Grow and Go
Foundations
This module is designed for the new believer and it is made up of several classes. Each class is taught by an experienced leader or Pastor and covers a wide variety of topics that are foundational to a believers walk with Christ.
The Foundations Module occur once or twice a year.
Sign up for “Foundations” when it is announced by letting a pastor or a leader from church know.
Maturity/Growth
This module is made up of several classes that cover several topics in a more in-depth way. The topics are designed to encourage each believer to go deeper in their walk with Christ.
We are not meant to be spiritual babies that feed on milk but are meant to grow our spiritual diet to the meat of God’s Word.
Maturity modules are held once a year.
Ministry and Leadership
All believers are expected to serve in the church and this module helps to train each person to find a suitable ministry and grow in it.
This module covers a longer period and requires active participation of students in a church ministry, especially a cell group.
This module is offered once a year in church.
Outreach
It is not enough to be focused on life within the church community. We are all commanded in the bible to go out to the whole world and preach the gospel.
We have a module that trains believers to be active in evangelism and outreach work. This requires on-the-job training (Practical) outreaches with trained volunteers.
